A la surprise générale, Nvidia annonce une nouvelle famille de pilotes graphiques, les Creator Ready. Ces drivers visent le grand public et assurent la prise en charge des cartes graphiques GeForce et TITAN. Sur ce point Nvidia précise
« Les pilotes Creator Ready Drivers prennent en charge les cartes graphiques GeForce RTX, GTX et TITAN basées sur Turing, TITAN V basé sur Volta, GeForce GTX et TITAN basés sur Pascal. »
Cette première version est estampillée 419.67. Elles apportent des optimisations de performances pour les principales applications de productivité dont Autodesk Arnold, Unreal Engine 4.22, REDCINE-X PRO, Adobe Lightroom et Substance Designer par Adobe.
Nvidia souligne que la GeForce RTX 2080 profite d’une hausse des ses prestations de 13% sous Blender Cycles, jusqu’à 9% avec Photoshop CC et Premier Pro CC et jusqu’à 8% avec Maxon Cinema 4D. Ces pilotes ajoutent égalemnt les certifications G-Sync aux moniteurs ASUS VG278Q et VG258.
