Après Nvidia, c’est au tour d’AMD d’annoncer la disponibilité de nouveaux drivers à l’occasion de la sortie de Batman: Arkham Knight. Estampillés 15.6 beta, ces pilotes proposent diverses optimisations.
Cette nouvelle mise à jour des Catalyst propose différentes optimisations pour le titre Batman: Arkham Knight cependant la prise en charge du Crossfire n’est pas encore disponible tandis que quelques bugs sont cités lors d’un changement de résolution, de la fermeture du jeu ou encore de l’utilisation du Benchmark. AMD propose quatre versions de ses Catalyst à destination des systèmes Windows 7 et 8.1 en version 32 et 64 bits.
Avant de procéder à la mise à jour de votre système, assurez-vous que votre carte vidéo est supportée par cette version (détails dans la note de version), télécharger le fichier correspondant à votre système puis lancer l’exécutable et suivre les instructions. Nous vous conseillons de redémarrer votre PC après l’installation afin que les changements prennent effets, même si cela n’est pas explicitement demandé.

Important Note:
– AMD Crossfire support is currently disabled for Batman: Arkham Knight while AMD works closely with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to resolve the issue. An update for this issue will be released as soon as it is available
Known Issues:
– [422129] Batman: Arkham Knight – The application may crash during in game benchmarking or while exiting the game
– [422130] Batman: Arkham Knight – The screen may turn black or pink while changing resolution to 1680×1050.
NOTES:
– This driver is not intended for use on AMD products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their manufacturer for driver support.
– When installing the AMD Catalyst Driver for Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Catalyst Driver.
– The AMD Catalyst 15.6 Beta Software Suite requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed.
– The AMD Catalyst 15.6 Beta Software Suite requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 to be installed. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is included in all Catalyst packages.
– AMD Eyefinity technology is designed to give gamers access to high display resolutions. As pixel count grows, the graphics “horsepower” required to drive the displays at a reasonable frame rate can increase dramatically. Depending on the game and system configuration, users may notice texture corruption and reduced frame rates when running games in multi-monitor Eyefinity modes.
