Intel publie les pilotes graphiques Windows DCH Driver 30.0.100.9955, quoi de neuf ?

Intel a publié de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Intel Graphics Driver 30.0.100.9955. Ils s’adressent aux systèmes d’exploitation Windows 11 et Windows 10. L’un des faits marquants concerne la prise en charge du taux de rafraîchissement dynamique sous Windows 11.

Avec la publication de ces nouveaux drivers graphiques Intel améliore la prise en charge de Windows 11. Ils introduisent le support du taux de rafraichissement dynamiques sur des produits tels que Surface Pro 8. A cela s’ajoute des correctifs censés améliorer les jeux et la productivité sur Windows 10.

Intel corrige des anomalies graphiques sous plusieurs jeux. Nous pouvons citer Cyberpunk 2077 et Hitman 2 avec l’API DirectX 12 et Wolfenstein sous l’API Vulkan. Il faut aussi s’attendre à des améliorations sous le titre Ark Survival Evolved et la correction d’un bug d’écran noir sous Rage 2 avec l’API Vulkan.

Concernant le taux de rafraichissement sous Windows 11 il est possible de le sélectionner manuellement. Si le matériel le permet du 120 Hz devient possible pour un gameplay plus confortable et immersif. L’usage d’un taux de rafraîchissement élevé s’accompagne malheureusement de besoins énergétiques plus importants. Du coup sur portable l’autonomie se réduit.

C’est ici qu’entre en jeu la technologie d’un taux de rafraîchissement dynamique (DRR) prise en charge par Windows 11. Elle ajuste le taux de rafraichissement en fonction des besoins. L’OS est capable de basculer de manière transparente entre un taux de rafraîchissement faible ou rapide selon les circonstances.

Pour utiliser le DRR avec une solution graphique Intel, il faut

Windows 11
Un écran capable de prendre en charge du 120 Hz,
Une solution graphique Intel Graphics Iris,
Des pilotes graphiques WDDM 3.0.
