AMD vient de publier une nouvelle itération de ses pilotes graphiques. Nommés Radeon Crimson 16.3.2, ils apportent la prise en charge de la réalité virtuelle.
Les pilotes graphiques Radeon Crimson 16.3.2 sont disponibles en téléchargement. Ils s’adressent aux systèmes d’exploitation Windows 7, Windows 8.1 et Windows 10. AMD propose de nouvelles fonctionnalités et diverses corrections.
Cette version apporte une compatibilité pour l’Oculus Rift (SDK v1.3), l’HTC Vive et la carte graphique haut de gamme Radeon Pro Duo. Elle propose aussi une mise à jour de plusieurs profils SLI concernant des titres comme Hitman. A cela s’ajoute des corrections comme les soucis de mise à l’échelle sous Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ou encore le bug touchant les Radeon Fury Series suite à une inactivité durant une longue période. Le constructeur évoque la résolution de plusieurs soucis (écran noir (FFXIV), blocage d’application) ou encore la disparation de la notification informant la disponibilité de nouveaux pilotes.
AMD propose également une mise à jour de son utilitaire RAIDXpert et de ses pilotes pour chipsets (AHCI, USB 3.0, SB9xx RAIDs, chipsets A-Series APU, and E-Series APU et pilotes RAIDs)

Resolved Issues:
– Counter-Strike: Global Offensive fails to stretch on non-native display aspect ratios. As part of the new Display Scaling per game feature, users can set “GPU Scaling” to “On” and “Scaling Mode” to “Full Panel” in the Display options tab in Radeon Settings as well as setting “Display Scaling” to “Full Panel” in their CSGO gaming profile under the “Gaming, Profile Options” tabs for this to take effect.
– AMD Radeon Fury Series may experience corruption on desktop when system is idle for an extended period of time.
– FFXIV can experience black screen or experience an application hang.
– XCOM2 may experience minor stutter while the camera is panning around a scene.
– Radeon Settings check for software update may not display the latest available driver.
Known Issues:
– A few game titles may fail to launch or crash if the AMD Gaming Evolved overlay is enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable the AMD Gaming Evolved “In Game Overlay”
– Need For Speed may experience poor scaling or flickering in AMD Crossfire mode. As a work around users can disable the profile through the Radeon Settings game manager.
– The Division may experience flickering in AMD Crossfire mode.
– Power efficiency toggle in Radeon Settings is showing up for some unsupported products.
– DOTA2 may experience game menu flickering when entering full screen mode with AMD Crossfire enabled.
– League of Legends may experience some graphical corruption on characters death animation in AMD Crossfire mode.
– XCOM2 users may experience an application crash when using AMD Crossfire mode. As a work around please disable AMD Crossfire for the games profile in the Radeon Settings Gaming tab.
– Hitman may experience flickering when played in DirectX 11 mode. As a work around users are recommended to either set the game to DirectX 12 mode in the games settings launcher or simply set “Shadow Resolution” to “Low” in the game settings.

– Product is based on the Vulkan 1.0 Specification and has been submitted to, and is expected to pass, the Khronos Conformance Process.

How-To Uninstall AMD Radeon Software:
– Start by opening the Control Panel
– For Windows 10/8.1, right-click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Context Menu
– For Windows 7, click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Start Menu
– In the Control Panel select Programs and Features
– Select AMD Install Manager and then click Uninstall/Change
– Check all items, and then click the Uninstall button.
– Note: If you had others versions of AMD drivers installed previously, you should get an additional prompt providing the options to remove All Versions or Current Version.
– Select All Versions to remove all AMD drivers and application components (recommended).
– Select Current Version will uninstall only the latest version of the drivers and its related components.
– The uninstall process will begin removing drivers and software components.
– Select Restart Now to complete the uninstallation process.
– To verify that the AMD Radeon Software has been removed from the system, return to the Program and Features list, and check that there are no AMD entries. If AMD specific entries are still listed, remove them using the above process.
How-To Install AMD Radeon Software:
– Ensure that any existing versions of AMD Radeon Software on the system have been uninstalled before proceeding with installing a new driver.
– Close all opened applications including anti-virus, firewall, remote-access, or webcam software before attempting the install process.
– Double-click the downloaded file and select Install to begin file extraction process.
– Note: It is recommended to use the default destination folder for installation.
– Select the desired components or keep default selection (recommended) and click Install.
– The drivers and software components will begin installing.
– Note: The screen will flicker whilst the AMD Radeon Software is being installed. If you have multiple displays, some of them may turn black for a few seconds.
– Once the drivers and software have been successfully installed, choose Restart Now
– Note: A system restart is required to complete the installation process.
