AMD publie de nouveaux drivers graphiques, les Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.5.1. Ils améliorent la compatibilité logicielle et matérielle, optimisent les performances et corrigent plusieurs bugs.
Les Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.5.1 sont disponibles en téléchargement sur le site d’AMD. Ces nouveaux pilotes proposent la prise en charge de Windows 10 April 2018 Update et le support des processeurs Ryzen équipés d’une solution graphique Vega.
AMD annonce une augmentation des performances de 6% par rapport à l’édition 18.4.1 de la Radeon RX Vega 56 sous une définition de 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). La Radeon RX 580 8 Go profite également d’une hausse de ses prouesses en Full HD. La progression est ici de 13% au maximum. A cela s’ajoute du PlayReady 3.0 pour les Radeon RX 400 et 500 series.
Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.5.1, des corrections de bugs
En parallèle plusieurs corrections de bugs sont de la partie. La réinitialisation des options HBCC devrait normalement fonctionner. AMD corrige aussi un souci de temps de chargement pour le titre Destiny 2 et des soucis d’affichage avec certains jeux avec du FreeSync. Le service Netflix ne devrait plus rencontrer de problème de lecture au travers d’un navigateur Web sur une configurations multi-GPU à base de Radeon RX 400 ou RX 500.
Enfin un correctif s’attaque à des soucis d’instabilité du service Radeon ReLive streaming ou uploading sur le réseau social Facebook .
Ces pilotes s’accompagnent cependant de problèmes connus et non corrigés. A ce sujet AMD explique qu’un plantage du PC est possible après l’installation de ces drivers si le Radeon Settings est lancé sans redémarrage du système. La solution est de redémarrer son PC après l’installation afin que les changements prennent effets.

Fixed Issues
- HBCC options may not properly reset to default when Radeon Settings “Restore Factory Defaults” option is selected.
- Destiny2 may experience increasing load time durations when the game is run for extended periods of time.
- Tearing may be observed in some borderless fullscreen games on Radeon FreeSync enabled displays when Radeon Software performance metrics is enabled.
- Netflix playback through a web browser may experience corruption or hangs when using multi GPU enabled system configurations with Radeon RX 400 series or Radeon RX 500 series graphics products.
- Radeon ReLive streaming or uploading of videos to Facebook may intermittently fail.
Known Issues
- Some games may experience minor stuttering during gameplay when the Radeon ReLive Instant Replay feature is enabled and FRTC is also enabled.
- Radeon Overlay may not show all available features when some games are run in borderless fullscreen mode.
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt may experience stuttering during gameplay.
- A system hang may occur on a small number of system configurations after Radeon Software installation if Radeon Settings is launched without a system reboot. A workaround is to reboot your system after install.
