AMD vient de mettre en ligne une nouvelle version de ses pilotes Radeon Software, les Radeon Software Crimson 15.12. Elle apporte des corrections pour plusieurs jeux, des améliorations sous Windows 7 et des solutions pour le bon fonctionnement de certaines fonctionnalités.
La liste des correctifs est assez longue (vous trouverez les détails dans la note de version en bas de cet article). Il est avancé la résolution de plusieurs problèmes dont le souci du mode Idle sous Windows 7, des scintillements sous Star Wars: Battlefront, des corruptions de texture sous Just Cause 3 ou encore des mauvaises performances en Crossfire sous Call Of Duty : Black Ops 3,des textures « sombres » sous Star Wars: Battlefront et le problème de scintillement de la boussole sous Fallout 4 pour les R9 390 series.
A tout cela s’ajoute des patchs au sujet du retour en mode manuel de l’Overdrive après avoir joué et du plantage du pilote avec certain notebooks utilisant l’HDMI.
Ces Radeon Software Crimson Edition 15.12 sont disponibles pour les environnements Microsoft de Windows 7 SP1 à Windows 10 en version 32 ou 64-bit. L’installation demande des droits d’administrateur. Pour le téléchargement, tout se déroule ici – Pilotes AMD -.

Avec une MSI r9 280x et le AMD Crimson 15.12, les fréquences étaient bloquées à 1020Mhz pour l'horloge et 1500Mhz pour la mémoire, alors qu'avant avec la version 15.11 c'était respectivement 300Mhz et 150Mhz et cela augmentait en charge (dans l'esprit d'un Cool'n Quiet qui réduit la conso)
Cela est revenu à la normale avec le retour des pilotes en version 15.11
La vitesse des ventilos était aussi instable et ne pouvait pas être modifié, cela revenait sans cesse sur 14%, problème également réglé avec les anciens pilotes
