Intel vient de mettre en ligne de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Intel HD Graphics driver 22.20.16.4729. Ils concernent les solutions équipant certains processeurs de la marque. Disponibles en téléchargement, ils s’adressent aux ordinateurs sous Windows 10 64-bit.
Cette mise à jour 22.20.16.4729 apporte plusieurs choses. Intel annonce des améliorations de performances pour plusieurs jeux vidéo à savoir Fortnite, Gigantic et Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2. A cela s’ajoute des optimisations de gameplay pour les puces HD Graphics 620 ou mieux concernant les titres Pyre, Master x Master, Secret World Legends et Pit People.
L’installation de ces drivers permet d’ajouter le support des API OpenGL 4.5 et Vulkan 1.0.38 ou encore du SDK Computer Vision et des outils de déploiement du Deep learning . Le processeur Core de 7ième génération profite de leur côté de l’activation des extensions Media OpenCL ou encore du « Programmable Sample Positions » et des fonctionnalités de Windows Creators Update.
Intel HD Graphics driver 22.20.16.4729, des corrections de bugs
Le constructeur s’attaque également aux bugs avec la correction de soucis de texture sous l’API DirectX 9 avec plusieurs jeux comme Halo 2 par exemple. Il y a la résolution d’anomalies graphiques sous Guilty Gear Xrd, Fallout 4, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Guild Wars 2, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, Watch Dogs 2 et d’autres titres.
Enfin à tout ceci s’ajoute des corrections concernant la lecture vidéo plein écran sur tablette, des soucis de « plantage » sous Guild Wars 2, DOTA 2 et The Talos Principle et une correction visant la détection automatique de la définition avec un affichage virtuel.
Pour l’installation, il suffit de télécharger l’archive puis de l’exécuter. Ensuite suivez les différentes étapes à l’écran. Un redémarrage de votre périphérique sous Windows 10 est nécessaire pour que les changements prennent effet.

- Graphical anomalies may be observed during fullscreen video playback in some tablets, when panel is rotated by 180o through hardware

KNOWN ISSUES:
- Graphics anomalies may be observed in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Titanfall 2, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands (only when ‘Bloom’ enabled)
- Intermittent crashes or hangs may occur in Tom Clancy’s The Division
- Display may lose rotation after going fullscreen on an external monitor with some DirectX9 applications
- Abnormal behavior observed in PowerDVD on 3D content playback in Windows 10 (fixed in Windows 10 Creator’s Update)
- Must reboot in order to display a new custom resolution in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel
- In extended display mode, HDCP may not work after video standby when using a type-C to HDMI adapter
- Menu bars may not appear in HDR Expose 3
This zip archive contains the files needed for installing the Intel HD Graphics driver. If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.
