Les processeurs Core de 8ème génération alias Coffee Lake s’accompagnent d’une partie graphique. Elle a l’avantage de permettre une exploitation sur une plateforme bureautique en limitant les investissements. Il n’est pas nécessaire d’acquérir une carte graphique.
A ce sujet, Intel propose enfin ses premières pilotes, les Graphics Driver 22.20.16.4815. Ils prennent en charge les iGP Intel HD Graphics 620 ou mieux. Leur contenu apporte pas mal de choses à commencer par le support de nouveaux jeux. Intel annonce les titres Forza Motorsport 7, Project CARS 2, Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, FIFA 18, EVE: Valkyrie Warzone, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony et Wild Eight.
A cela s’ajoute l’API Vulkan 1.0.50 et quelques corrections de bugs. Elles visent des jeux comme F1 2017, Forza Motorsport 7 et Unity Viking Village, les API Vulkan et DX12 et des applications comme PowerDVD 17.
Au sujet de l’installation, elle n’est pas compliquée. Il suffit de télécharger l’archive puis dans la décompresser. A noter qu’Intel ne prend en charge que les environnements Windows 10 64-bit. Une fois l’installation des Intel Graphics Driver 22.20.16.4815 terminée, un redémarrage de la machine est nécessaire afin que les correctifs prennent effet.
