Microsoft publie les mises à jour cumulatives Windows 10 KB4494441, KB4499167 et KB4499179
A l’occasion du Patch Tuesday de mai 2019 Microsoft publie plusieurs nouvelles mises à jour cumulatives Windows 10. Elles s’attaquent principalement à la sécurité.
La grande maintenance mensuelle de Microsoft vient de débuter. Le service Windows Update propose plusieurs nouvelles mises à jour cumulatives pour Windows 10. Le focus est la sécurité avec des correctifs visant certains composants et logiciels natifs comme les navigateurs Microsoft Edge et Internet Explorer.
Toutes les versions de Windows 10 sont concernées cependant les regards sont tournés vers Windows 10 v1809. Il s’agit de la version stable la plus récente. Microsoft s’apprête cependant à déployer d’ici la fin du mois May 2019 Update. La RTM est actuellement en test au travers du programme Windows Insider.

KB4499181 pour Windows 10 v1703
Pour le moment, il n’est pas possible d’affirmer que tout se déroule sans problème. Les installations débutent et un peu de temps est nécessaire. Il est conseillé de faire une sauvegarde de son installation Windows si vous souhaitez les installer immédiatement. L’autre solution est de patienter histoire de s’assurer qu’aucun problème n’est à l’ordre du jour.

Use the registry settings as described in the Windows Client and Windows Server articles. (These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions and Windows Server OS editions).
Adds “uk.gov” into the HTTP Strict Transport Security Top Level Domains (HSTS TLD) for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

Addresses an issue that prevents the Microsoft Visual Studio Simulator from starting.
