Microsoft propose au travers de son service Windows Update trois nouvelles mises à jour dites cumulatives. Elles s’adressent aux appareils sous Windows 10.
Le géant ne propose pas de nouvelles fonctionnalités mais seulement des améliorations de performance et des corrections de bug. Proposées dans le cadre du Patch Tuesday, elles se composent de plusieurs correctifs de sécurité. Un redémarrage du système est nécessaire pour terminer leur installation
Windows 10 et les updates KB3176493 et KB3176495
KB3176493 est une mise à jour publiée pour Windows 10 v1511 (Mise à jour novembre 2015). Elle améliore les performances et la fiabilité du système tout en visant certaines applications natives comme les navigateurs Internet Explorer et Edge.
KB3176495 s’adresse de son côté aux ordinateurs ayant « migré » vers Windows 10 Anniversary Update, disponible depuis le 2 aout dernier. Son installation permet de passer le système en version 14393.51.
Enfin, les appareils sous Windows 10 v10240 (version lancée le 29 juillet 2015) sont aussi concernés par un ensemble de patch. KB3176492 apporte de nombreuses corrections de bugs, mais aussi des mises à jour de sécurité. Elles visent plusieurs choses dont Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Authentication Methods, the lock screen, Kernel Mode Drivers et Secure Boot.

This update includes quality improvements and security fixes. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update.
Key changes include:
- Improved reliability for Internet Explorer 11.
- Addressed issue to keep pen click settings after updating to Windows 10 Version 1607.
- Addressed issue that may cause Windows 10 Mobile devices to hang after turning Bluetooth on and off very quickly.
- Security updates to Kernel Mode Drivers, Microsoft Graphics Component, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11, and Windows Authentication Methods.

This update includes quality improvements and security fixes. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update.
Key changes include:
- Improved reliability by allowing more time for devices to recover from connected standby mode.
- Addressed issue affecting some devices with Bitlocker enabled that didn’t start up to the BitLocker password entry screen.
- Addressed issue with MouseUp and MouseDown events not working correctly when using a scroll bar in an Inline Frame (IFrame).
- Addressed issue that delays the display of content when resizing the Internet Explorer 11 browser window.
- Addressed issue with special keys and mouse clicks that don’t work on devices when Remote Assistance is in session.
- Addressed issue with rendering multi-pixel points in Web Graphics Library (WebGL).
- Addressed additional issues with certain devices that can’t transition from connected standby to sleep mode, updates not installing, and Internet Explorer 11.
