Microsoft vient de publier une nouvelle mise à jour Windows 11, KB5011563. Facultative, elle permet au système d’exploitation d’évoluer en version 22000.593.
Ce chiffre est important. Il permet de s’assurer que tout s’est déroulé correctement. Pour le dénicher, il suffit de lancer winver.exe dans Exécuter (WIN+R). Cette mise à jour n’est pas vraiment une nouveauté. Elle est connue depuis quelque temps. Elle a été proposée il y a deux semaines aux PCs inscrits sur le canal BETA du programme Windows Insider.

Elle introduit l’affichage de trois notifications « toast » à priorité haute simultanément. Cette fonctionnalité est utile pour les applications qui envoient des notifications pour les appels, les rappels ou les alarmes à l’aide Windows notifications. Du coup ce sont jusqu’à quatre notifications toast qui peut apparaître simultanément (trois de priorités haute et une de priorité normale).
Microsoft corrige un problème qui entraîne la perte de focus des fichiers OneDrive un fichier lorsque qu’ils sont renommés. Il est alors nécessaire de les sélectionner à nouveau avant de pouvoir les utiliser.

“Après avoir installé les mises à jour Windows publiées le 11 janvier 2022 ou les versions ultérieures de Windows sur une version affectée, les disques de récupération (CD ou DVD) créés à l’aide de l’application Sauvegarder et restaurer (Windows 7) dans le Panneau de contrôle peuvent ne pas démarrer.”
Les disques de récupération créés à l’aide de l’application Sauvegarder et restaurer sur les appareils qui ont installé les mises à jour Windows publiées avant le 11 janvier 2022 ne sont pas affectés par ce problème et doivent commencer comme prévu. Les équipes de développement travaillent sur un correctif.
KB5011563 est disponible au travers du service Windows Update via une intervention manuelle pour déclencher son téléchargement et son installation. Vous pouvez également récupérer cette mise à jour via Catalog.Update.Microsoft ou encore WSUS (Windows Servers Update Services.
